(More customer reviews)Our house is a 30-year old, traditional style 2-story.We have a new furnace but with the old undersized duct work, it's not heated easiliy.Our bedroom, the farthest from the furnace and on the 2nd floor, was always 3-degrees less than the entire house, heating and cooling.We talked to HVAC people, considered duct fans, adding returns, etc.... very expensive and no guarantee. Space heaters would work, but the room is 16x19 and we have 3 young kids.... found out about this by accident and I can't believe more people don't own these.The remote is great, it heats this room perfectly, to what ever temperature you want.It turns itself off when it reaches the temperature you want and comes on as needed.We turn it on just before bedtime, low heat at 67 and it it's immediate heat.Not hot and the noise is minimal like a small fan noise.Better yet, you come into our room and it looks just like a regular fan.It has everything, light, remote, off, reverse, heat, and you can use it as a regular fan.Great product.
